To be honest, my personal site has always been in a state of flux. As I am employed as a full-time designer, I’ve never needed to seek work from the website, and because it has only been an evening and weekend sort-of-thing I agree, I haven’t spent enough time on my site.

By using a default theme, I can at least write new posts and have them display nicely, whilst I work on what I want the site to achieve.
